The Edge of Reason is an Autumnal landscape painting of the sun as it sets behind a hill, next to nearby field. I called this The Edge of Reason, because as an avid gardener and landscape designer, I have often pondered which is the "reasonable" landscape, natural or man made. The "Edge" is denoted by the manicured green grass meeting the field. Also representing that symbolic "Edge" is the autumn season, just before nature goes into its temporary dormancy.. As usual, I have incorporated various symbolic elements to further support the theme.
